Vocational Education and Training Program Officer
Main Tasks:
- Managing and preparing of theoretical and practical examinations and preparing the needed reports, briefing notes and results for the concerned stakeholders
- Supervising training and exams material, delivery, and translation processes as necessary
- Recruiting examiners and experts to overlook the examination process and join the sectoral executive boards
- Handling communication with key stakeholders of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)
- Supervising the short-term mechanisms in Egypt and Jordan
- Responding to inquiries by phone and email
- Data search, in addition to, setting up and maintaining a proper database for various sectors related to TVET

- Managing and organizing sectoral Executive Board meetings and examination committees.
- Introducing and implementing the electronic report book project
- Organizing consultation sessions to the companies and monitoring the practical training.
- Organizing translation services
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant university degree
- Excellent written and spoken English, Arabic and German languages.
- Efficient and careful way of working
- A professional manner and presentable appearance.
- Ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary and intercultural teams.

Project Manager – Skilled workers for Germany
Main Tasks:
- Identifying and preparing skilled workers from Egypt for employment opportunities in Germany
- Identifying and preparing young people from Egypt for a dual training opportunity in Germany
- Conduct analysis and identification of skilled workers in Egypt and matching them with companies’ needs in Germany
- Assess training differences between local qualifications and equivalent German standards and develop upskilling measures
- Support selected candidates with preparation and administrative steps
- Manage the project budget and provide regular reports to senior management of AHK Egypt and relevant German authorities
- Build and maintain networks with local and German partners, including chambers of commerce, industry associations, and educational institutions
- Coordinate closely with the project colleagues in Germany and in 10 further AHK offices in Africa
Required Qualifications:
- A diploma or degree in business studies, social sciences, economics, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years work experience in recruitment, project management and/or business advisory.
- knowledge about the German job market and social environment, ideally work or education experience in Germany
- Ability to build, maintain, and extend industry-specific networks
- You have strong presentation and communication skills
- Knowledge of the German training sector is an advantage
- Previous experience in working in an international team or with international clients and possess strong confidence and self-awareness in intercultural setting
- High degree of customer focus and ability to stay organized through constant people interaction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- German language skills at B2 level (or equivalent) or higher are an advantage
- High Proficiency in MS Office programs

Trade Fairs Officer
Main Tasks:
- Supporting in promotion, Marketing and Sales and increasing of Exhibition Spaces and Trade Fair Entry Tickets and others in Germany
- Marketing and sales of Trade Fair (mostly taking place in Germany) supporting services (i.e. stand construction, travel, delegations, budgeting, promotional events, etc.)
- Visiting relevant trade fairs in Egypt for marketing purposes when required.
- Customer Care: Rebooking of existing customers/re-winning lost customers back/winning new customers, follow-up with payments of customers before and after the trade show
- Supporting in the preparations of visitor delegations to Germany (lists, invitation letters, invoices, invoice follow-up, visa documentation)
- Assisting in Organizing press conferences and presentations for trade fairs
- Assisting in preparation of budgets for trade fairs and events
- Provide advice for telephone calls inquiries as well as customers coming to the office.
- Ongoing updates of database and searching for new ones
- Travelling to Germany accompanying Delegations/exhibitors and others if/when required and needed.

Required Qualifications:
- University Degree.
- 1-3 experience in sales/marketing or finance.
- Very Good command of spoken and written English and Arabic, German is a must
- High degree of responsibility and independent work, ability to work in a team: sharing information for that the team members are being kept in the loop.
