Description:
The Waste Management Regulatory Agency - The National Solid Waste Management Program funded by the European Union (EU), the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), and the German government managed by the KfW Development Bank, intend to set up a mechanical and biological treatment plant in Quos District - Qena Governorate. The scope of work consists of the following:

1. Establishment of civil works facilities for the factory which are completely designed by the employer. And the
2. Design, supply, installation and construction of a mechanical and biological treatment plant

General Notes:

The bidder must fulfill the following criteria to be eligible to participate in the tender:

1. The average annual turnover is 5 million euros or its equivalent in pounds during the last five years
2. Successfully executed two similar contracts for the tender process, the value of each contract is 2.5 million euros or its equivalent in pounds during the last ten years
3. Has a cash flow of not less than 500 thousand euros or its equivalent in pounds issued by a bank letter

The contract will follow the Banks Harmonized Version of the Construction Contract Terms prepared by the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (Fédération Internationale des Ingénieurs- Conseils, or FIDIC), all rights reserved.
