AHK Egypt Last Morninground of 2024

Today marked the final Morninground session of the year before we head into the festive season. We were joined by Alexis Below, German Economic Counsellor, who provided our members with a comprehensive update on the current economic and political landscape.
Additionally, Nariman Roushdy, Senior Associate, AMERELLER Legal Consultants, shared insights into the newly issued Law 87 of 2024, which is designed to encourage the private sector to operate and manage public health facilities on a for-profit basis.

Our main speaker, Dr. Sherif Kamal, Chairman Advisor, Egypt Healthcare Authority (EGH), delivered an insightful presentation on the new Universal Insurance System being implemented by the (EGH). Dr. Kamal highlighted how this system aims to enhance the accessibility and quality of healthcare services for all residents in Egypt. Through the integration of unified medical records and the development of advanced medical complexes, the EGH is making significant aiming to build a more advanced healthcare system in Egypt.
