(+202) 3333 8467 mona.ayoub@ahk-mena.comAt AHK Egypt, we believe in the power of partnerships to create real change. Together with Goethe-Institut and Germany’s Federal Employment Agency (ZAV), and with the support of the European Union, we’ve launched the Vocational College a forward-looking program that opens structured, skill-based migration pathways between Egypt and Germany. On AHK Egypt`s side the project implementation will be through our service entity DEInternational Egypt LLC
As global labour markets evolve, Germany faces an acute demand for skilled professionals, particularly in technical and industrial sectors. At the same time, Egypt’s young and increasingly qualified population continues to seek viable career opportunities aligned with international standards.
The vocational college initiative is a strategic response to these parallel challenges. By offering demand-driven technical education and fostering internationally recognized qualifications, the program enables structured pathways for labor mobility while supporting economic development in both countries.
Through this initiative, a sustainable model is established, linking education with employability, and workforce needs with talent development, while ensuring mutual benefit for sending and receiving labor markets.
As AHK Egypt, we take a leading role in shaping the success of the Vocational College initiative. With our deep understanding of both the Egyptian talent landscape and German industry requirements, we serve as the bridge between ambition and opportunity.
Through close coordination with our partners, we ensure that:
From initial outreach to placement, we provide hands-on support throughout the journey including technical and language training coordination, cultural orientation, and assistance with recognition and visa procedures.
As part of the project, candidates will undergo intensive German language training, reaching a minimum of B1 level, through Goethe-Institut Cairo. The process is carried out in close cooperation with German employers to ensure a smooth match between candidates and available job opportunities.
The program targets vocational school graduates who have obtained the AHK certificate in categories B or C and wish to pursue apprenticeships or careers in skilled technical fields in Germany.
We play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between international qualifications and the requirements of the German labor market. Our dedicated team works closely with candidates at every stage of the recognition process, from initial assessment to final approval. We provide detailed guidance on preparing and submitting the necessary documents, navigating official procedures, and meeting specific professional standards. In addition, we offer advice on visa applications, ensuring candidates are well-prepared for the next steps in their career journey. By combining our expertise with personalized support, we make the transition to starting a professional career in Germany as seamless and stress-free as possible.
