Due to the strong demand of qualified specialists in the German labor market, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is supporting the project for the Recognition of professional Qualifications (ProRecognition) in the German Chambers of Industry and Commerce currently in 9 Countries.
In the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce we offer free of charge consultations for all steps related to living and working in Germany, advice on recognition of professional and academic qualifications, job opportunities, recommended German language skills and visa consultations (for candidates seeking a visa for recognition of professional qualifications or work).
We focus on the Recognition of the professional Qualifications obtained in Egypt and we ensure personalized support during the procedures. This will allow skilled labour force to integrate more quickly in the German labour market. We also offer information about topics like visa procedures and living and working conditions in Germany.

Requirements for receiving ProRecognition Consultation:
- Education: To benefit from the advice offered under the ProRecognition project, you must have completed higher education and/or professional training.
- German language: To be eligible for the programme, you must have German language skills at A2 level for technical professions and at B1 level for higher education professions (except in the IT, engineering and administration sectors, where English language skills at B2 level are accepted instead).

On 1 June 2024, the new job search opportunity card, which is based on a point system, came into force.
The opportunity card (Section 20a of the Residence Act [AufenthG]) improves your chances of making contact with German employers and finding qualified employment in Germany.
