The German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Egypt) is pleased to announce its first AHK Logistics Exclusive Conference, titled “Egypt: The Gateway to Global Trade,” taking place on Tuesday,5 May 2026,10:00 -16:00.
The conference will feature a special Fireside Chat highlighting the current landscape of the logistics sector within the European Union, including key projects and initiatives shaping the sector across EU member states, with participation from a representative of the European Commission and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). The discussion will address international trends in logistics, the importance of cooperation, and IFC’s role in supporting the logistics sector in Egypt, including its future initiatives and national projects.
The program will also include a first panel discussion focusing on the current status and future outlook of Egypt’s logistics sector, highlighting infrastructure developments, recent advancements in customs and inspection procedures, and government efforts to enhance trade facilitation. In addition, a second panel will bring together leading private sector logistics companies to discuss the impact of digitalization on operations, the integration of digital tools into daily business, and the requirements needed to keep pace with global developments.
