Today, we had the honor of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CropLife Egypt to establish a framework for cooperation aimed at enhancing skills in Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), specifically focusing on the responsible use of pesticides in the agricultural sector.
The joint efforts between the AHK Egypt Agriculture Working Group and CropLife Egypt will include activities such as:
- organizing workshops
- providing capacity-building programs
- offering training on food safety to ensure that local produce meets global safety standards.
This collaboration is significant, as it will encourage active participation from our members (private sectors), as well as the stakeholders in the public sector. Together, we aim to raise local awareness about health and safety in pesticide use.
