As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and inclusive development, talabat proudly sponsored the Arab Sustainability Expo—the first event of its kind organized by the Arab League of Nations. During the Expo, Hadeer Shalaby, Vice President & Managing Director of talabat, and Maha Saleh, Head of Comms, PA, CR, and Sustainability, highlighted the company’s alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They showcased talabat’s key sustainability initiatives, including:

  • Zero Hunger: Through the Tech4Good initiative, which facilitates online donations to various NGOs for different causes.
  • Climate Action: Introducing deliveries using electric bikes, bicycles, or no vehicles at all.
  • Decent Work and Economic Growth: Utilizing the latest technology to optimize fleet operations and enhance safety.
