Cairo, Egypt – 28 August 2025: Mercedes-Benz Egypt introduces the new Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC, marking another step in expanding its luxury performance portfolio in Egypt. This launch paves the way for more exciting AMG models and variants to be introduced to the local market in the near future.
The New Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC: More Power and Efficiency for the Saloon
The C-Class has always been a true success story for Mercedes-AMG. With the introduction of innovative electric exhaust gas turbocharger technology, the appeal of this latest generation is significantly enhanced once again. The new turbocharging system, combined with a 48-volt onboard electrical system, not only contributes to the exceptional driving dynamics of the C 43 4MATIC but also improves overall efficiency. This highlights the remarkable potential of electrified combustion engines.
Standard features such as all-wheel drive, active rear-axle steering, and a quick-shifting transmission further elevate the vehicle’s hallmark driving performance. AMG Exterior Design Language
The Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC showcases a distinctive AMG identity with aggressive, sporty styling. Signature elements include the AMG-specific radiator grille with vertical chrome struts, a bold front apron featuring aerodynamic flicks and large air intakes, sculpted side sills, and a rear diffuser with twin round tailpipe trims.
The vehicle comes standard with 19-inch AMG alloy wheels to enhance presence and performance, along with a panoramic sliding sunroof, wider wheel arches for AMG wheels, the AMG Night Package, DIGITAL LIGHT, and AMG bodystyling.
Aerodynamic design details not only elevate the car’s visual appeal but also improve stability and handling at high speeds, emphasizing its motorsport heritage.
AMG Interior Design
Inside, the C 43 4MATIC blends high-performance aesthetics with luxury craftsmanship. Sports seats are upholstered in ARTICO man-made leather and MICROCUT microfibre, highlighted by red contrasting stitching and matching red seat belts for a sporty look.
The AMG Performance steering wheel, wrapped in Nappa leather, features aluminium paddle shifters and integrated controls for quick access to dynamic functions and drive modes. AMG-specific displays are seamlessly integrated into the MBUX infotainment system. Additional details such as AMG floor mats, illuminated door sills, and sports pedals complete the performance-focused, premium interior.
The vehicle also includes advanced features such as Blind Spot Assist, sound personalization, the Burmester® surround sound system, heat- and noise-insulating acoustic glass, metal-weave trim, smartphone integration package, widescreen cockpit, ambient lighting, wireless charging for mobile devices in the front, KEYLESS-GO Convenience Package, Parking Package with 360-degree camera, and AMG steering wheel buttons.
Technical & Performance
At its core, the C 43 4MATIC features the hand-built 2.0-litre engine, the world’s first series-production engine equipped with an electric exhaust gas turbocharger—technology derived from Formula 1. This innovative system, powered by a 48-volt mild hybrid setup, delivers 310 kW (421 hp) and 500 Nm of torque.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 4.3 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h. The AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission and AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive to ensure rapid gear shifts and dynamic traction.
Features such as AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with adjustable damping, rear-axle steering, AMG DYNAMIC SELECT driving modes, and a responsive braking system deliver a high level of agility, control, and driving pleasure in all conditions.
