We were honored to contribute to the 5th edition of the Edutech EG conference, a pivotal platform for shaping the future of education in Egypt. Representing the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Egypt), Dr. Mona Abdallah Ayoub, Director of the Competence Center for Skills and Training, joined the expert panel for Session 6: “The Teacher of Tomorrow: Systemic Upskilling & Industry Immersion.”
During the discussion, Dr. Ayoub outlined our vision for a future-ready technical education system, centered on three key pillars:
- Robust Accreditation: Establishing strong frameworks for teacher certification.
- Continuous Development: Prioritizing ongoing professional growth.
- Industry Immersion: Ensuring education aligns with real-world demands.
A central theme of the session was clear: teachers are the cornerstone of educational transformation. Investing in their professional development is the most direct path to improving student outcomes. Furthermore, Dr. Ayoub emphasized the vital role of in-company trainers in bridging the gap between the classroom and the workplace. By integrating practical, hands-on experience alongside digital and distance learning skills, we are better preparing Egypt’s workforce for the technological demands of the global market.
