The AHK Egypt Chemical Working Group held a focused meeting on 3rd June 2025 with representatives of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Program at the Egyptian Customs Authority to discuss the benefits and procedures for chemical companies to join the program.

 

During the meeting, the AEO team outlined the advantages offered to certified companies, including simplified customs procedures, priority treatment, and faster clearance times key elements that support efficiency in the import and export of chemical products.

 

The discussions also touched on future possibilities for granting certain types of chemicals access to the “green path” for customs clearance, further reducing time and operational costs.
