On 28th May 2025, AHK Egypt organized a logistics workshop titled “The Development of the Egyptian Customs System: Pre-Registration Procedures for Shipments on the NAFEZA Platform”, in cooperation with Misr Technology Services (MTS).

The workshop featured Ahmed Omawy, Head of the Egyptian Customs Authority, as a guest speaker. He presented the future vision of Egyptian Customs and responded to all inquiries raised by AHK Egypt member companies. Omawy emphasized the strong collaboration between the public and private sectors in improving the business environment.
Following this, Eng. Gamal Kotb, Managing Director of Misr Technology Services (MTS), delivered a detailed presentation on the current and upcoming updates to the NAFEZA platform, which are scheduled to be implemented soon, highlighting the expected positive impact of these enhancements. To complement the session the technical team from Misr Technology Services showcased common user errors on the platform and addressed all technical questions to ensure optimal utilization of the service.
