Legal Working Group:
On 29th April 2025, we hosted an insightful and engaging legal workshop led by Dr. Mahmoud Mostafa, Legal Expert, Educator, and Founder of MM LAW FIRM.
The session provided a comprehensive overview of key employment topics under Egyptian Labor Law, including:
- Types of Employment Contracts
- Vacation Entitlements
- Work-Related Injuries
- Cash Equivalent for Unused Vacation Balance
- Termination Procedures
Finance Working Group: On 6th May 2025, in collaboration with the Egyptian Tax Authority, AHK Egypt organized an awareness seminar on the new tax incentives and facilitations – First Package.
The session’s guest speaker was Dr. Ragab Mahrous, Advisor to the Head of the Egyptian Tax Authority who provided a detailed explanation of several important points. The seminar aimed to raise tax awareness among participants and clarify various aspects in accordance with the approved legal procedures.
Site Visit: AHK Egypt Site Visit to Saxony Egypt University: On 12th May 2025, we organized a site visit to Saxony Egypt University (SEU), as part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation in the field of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). The visit provided valuable insights into SEU’s academic model, infrastructure, and commitment to the dual education approach. Participants had the opportunity to meet with university leadership, tour the facilities, and explore avenues for future collaboration.
HR Working Group: On 13th May 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting a session with senior HR leaders from our member companies, focusing on how employee attitudes and behaviors directly impact organizational success.
The discussion was led by Mahmoud Mohamed Niazy, Partner for HR Services at FEKRA Consulting, Egypt, and Rehab Abdelhafez, Managing Partner at FEKRA Consulting, Egypt. Their insights sparked meaningful dialogue and opened the floor for attendees to share their real-world experiences and challenges.
