On Monday, June 30th, the AHK Egypt had the pleasure of hosting an in-depth workshop on Carbon Credits in collaboration with ECC’s CEO Omar Ghaly and Mostafa Hawass of the Egyptian Exchange.
The three-hour session offered attendees a comprehensive overview of the carbon credit market, both globally and within the Egyptian context. The workshop covered key technical foundations as well as the emerging regulatory and legislative framework being developed by the Egyptian Exchange; highlighting how Egypt is positioning itself within this space.
In response to the strong interest and engagement from the participants, AHK Egypt is preparing to host a follow-up session to explore the topic further and continue the dialogue around this vital environmental and economic issue.
