On 2 July 2026 – CIRA Education, Egypt’s largest private-sector integrated education provider, signed a strategic partnership with Origin Group to launch "CIRA Technopark" at Badr University in Assiut (BUA). Operated by the "CIRA LinK" initiative, this milestone marks the first time a technopark is established directly within an Egyptian university campus, originating from Upper Egypt. The project aims to bridge the gap between academic research, industry, and entrepreneurship. The technopark will feature specialized laboratories in artificial intelligence, robotics, digital manufacturing, and industrial automation, while offering professional certifications and startup support.
The official signing ceremony took place at the Hilton Ramses Hotel in Cairo, attended by prominent university presidents, industrial leaders, and representatives from national and international institutions.
Dr. Mona Ayoub, representing the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Egypt), was among the distinguished guests invited to witness this landmark collaboration. Dr. Hassan El-Kalla, Chairman of CIRA Education, and Eng. Mostafa Hassan, Chairman and Managing Director of Origin Group, signed the agreement.
Through this partnership, both entities aim to empower students and researchers in Upper Egypt by providing them with the practical skills and advanced technological resources needed for the future job market.
