SUSTAINABLE AVIATION FUELS (SAF) AND POTENTIAL FOR EGYPT

The workshop will bring together key stakeholders from across the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) value chain to discuss the current state of the SAF market, to understanding SAF products technically, strategic developments, and financing opportunities for production and processing in Egypt. Participants will gain first-hand insights into SAF Fly, the Middle East's first SAF production facility, while exploring Egypt's potential role in meeting the growing global demand for SAF.

The workshop will also provide an overview of the EU blending mandates driving international SAF markets and discuss current EU and international developments related to mass balancing and the evolving concept of Book & Claim, highlighting their relevance for companies across the SAF value chain and for Egypt.
